Responsible for ensuring that the annual planning and forecasting meets all requirements which have been set forth by the management team. Assist the consolidation group with various accounting and consolidation issues.Interface with external auditors to assist in the coordination of the annual audit.Serve as the subject matter expert for the inventory process and valuation, and develop business cases for strategic initiatives on an ad hoc basis.Assist in the development and implementation of the common financial policies and definitions.

Supervise product costing month, quarterly, and year-end closing process to ensure that reporting of the inventory is in full compliance with the global product costing policy.Responsible for maintaining the standard cost estimates of the raw materials and finished goods and investigating any variances identified.Oversee the preparation and posting of monthly accrual journal entries to ensure that they are posted correctly in the general ledger.Lead the quarterly/annual physical inventory count process to ensure accuracy of the data in the financial statements.Provide support for timely and accurate execution of internal controls and JSOX related controls within finance processes as well as overall local business process; participate in the development and maintenance of local baseline controls.Perform power user tasks which includes participation in required testing (i.e. regression testing and user acceptance testing) and submit any local changes required for the local ERP system.

Create any new controls due to changes in the business and amend/update controls on an as needed basis.

Responsible for obtaining proof of delivery so that suppliers may receive payments for their services.
