FISPAN helps banks, card networks and fintechs to deliver financial services to their clients within their ERP and accounting software.I started working as a Product Manager with a cross functional team to build new business models and products from the ground up, using a variety of frameworks including Blue Ocean Strategy and Jobs To Be Done. More specifically, my team focused on making business banking great for SMBs that use Quickbooks Online and Xero, bringing banking touchpoints where and when they need it the most. I was also given the responsibility to define our positioning and develop our strategic partnership with card networks.I participated to other internal projects and particularly helped in the creation of multiple ROI models that helped us to better price our solution, monetize it, and demonstrate profitability of our products to the different stakeholders involved. I was then promoted as head of product marketing with a focus on defining our positioning, developing a GTM strategy for our AP suite as well as increasing product adoption and user engagement. In the course of a couple of years, I set up a framework that allowed FISPAN to understand their customers, increase new feature adoption by 50% and decreased inactivity of clients by 20%, with direct impact on the company’s financial goals.

Hytchers was a Belgian startup that offered sustainable parcel delivery solutions. Making use of the existing trips of a vast community of drivers (>20k), Hytchers was able to transport a large number of parcels without emitting any additional CO2.The model was particularly efficient for last mile delivery and returns of the e-commerce industry, in which we partnered with the largest players in the country (Decathlon, Fnac-Vandenborre, JBC, Torfs, Proximus...)As co-founder and CEO I was responsible for raising $1M in funds, build an entire new product, recruit a team of 10 people, create and execute the go to market plan and much more, like delivering packages onSundays, working in a gas station to be able interview users (car drivers, shop attendants) and repairing the coffee machine of the office.Hytchers had a great start but was mandated to close for 9 months with COVID restrictions, which happened at the same time as a trial intended by a truckers union in Belgium (which we won under my leadership: https://www.retaildetail.be/fr/news/mode/le-juge-donne-raison-a-jbc-et-hytchers-2/). At this point, we had take the decision to sell the company to an external investor.
