I am a second-year student at the University of Michigan Honors Program working towards an Honors Physics and Mathematics double major. I am currently working under Dr. Schubnell on future DESI Collaboration fiber positioners.I am also an active member of the University of Michigan Rugby Football Club, and like to play the piano.I am looking to pursue learning and research in physics, mathematics, and cosmology for my time in university and am excited for what's ahead!

Course Instructor of Climbing the Distance Ladder: How Astronomers Survey the Universe, a Michigan Math and Science Scholars (MMSS) summer course. Working alongside a graduate student, I led labs that focused on N-Body simulations, VPython gravity simulations, and parallax calculations. I gave lectures on the solar system, vectors, special relativity, general relativity, and the structure of a physics major. We took trips to the local observatories for some observing and the University of Michigan Natural History Museum for a planetary show.

Student Researcher
Undergraduate researcher (under Dr. Nguyen) studying the growth of large-scale structure in the early universe, through cross-correlation between the Cosmic Microwave Background and the Cosmic Infrared Background. Research focuses on how photons emitted by early galaxies (as seen in the Cosmic Infrared Background) interact with various forces on their way to our telescopes. Cross-correlating this with the incredibly old Cosmic Microwave Background, we can find out a lot of information on early structure formation and growth.Presented research at the annual UROP Symposium in May 2024 and the Students in Applied Mathematics Symposium in September 2024.
