Andrew is presently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Integument Technologies, Inc., a specialty coatings manufacturing and R&D company. He started at Integument as a Research Scientist, primarily supporting several DOD R&D projects. Following a company reorganization, he was promoted to Sr. VP to head operations, manufacturing, and R&D, with subsequent promotions in the role.Andrew has over twenty years of experience working with and creating new materials, products, and processes for small, start-up, and Fortune 500 companies. He originally trained as a low-temperature, experimental physicist, and earned his PhD studying the electromagnetic properties of superconductors at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He went on to manage a commercial materials characterization research laboratory specialized in adsorbents and separation processes. He moved mostly out of the laboratory at NanoDynamics, Inc., a start-up developing nanomaterials for diverse applications. At NanoDynamics, he secured funding from government contracts, lead research programs, and managed the intellectual properties portfolio. He has also worked with companies in various new business and product development roles. Andrew is a certified Project Management Professional.
