Oversaw the general operations of the Campus Center, Information Desk, and Card Office at Carroll University. Daily activities ranged from customer interaction to the handling of business transactions and more. Successfully hired, trained, and scheduled 35+ student workers, as well as assisted in hiring and training a new Assistant Director of the Campus Center (full time position). Utilized my technical expertise to improve many areas around the Campus Center, including creating a dashboard to track monetary reporting and implementing Online Photo Submission for new students during the COVID pandemic who were not able to make it onto campus before classes stared. I was the first line of contact for any issues that arose from the front desk at any time of the day. Used my extensive time management skills to complete all managerial tasks along with a full course load.

Worked Risk Experience Analytics (REA, formerly known as studies), focusing on Disability Income (DI) and Long-Term Care (LTC) product lines analyzing trends and comparing actual experience to expectations. Evaluated LTC morbidity assumptions as they relate to utilization of benefits and claims experience. Designed a Power BI dashboard to track LTC inforce, which greatly maximized time efficiency. Successfully built upon my communication skills in a virtual environment, which also allowed me to showcase my ability to work individually or on a team.

Was responsible for the completion of daily accounting tasks along with producing and sending daily, weekly, and monthly reports to executives. Entrusted with many month-end tasks including journal entries and counting inventory. Took lead on multiple projects, utilizing my attention to detail and organizational skills. Performed data gathering and analysis to interpret results and make sound recommendations. Working with many coworkers from different departments allowed me to showcase my ability to build rapport quickly. Learned to effectively cope with change and can shift gears comfortably to work on whatever is most urgent for the team. Not afraid to ask questions when something is unclear, but am also comfortable dealing with ambiguity when necessary.

Tutored fellow students in math subjects ranging from algebra to calculus II. Improved my active listening techniques by truly hearing what clients were having troubles with. Greatly built upon time management and prioritization skills as there was only one hour to assist each client and ensure the session was the most beneficial it could be.

Answered questions from fellow students, faculty, professors, alumni, donors, and community members through email, phone calls, and face-to-face at the front desk of Carroll University. Tracked and analyzed the population of students in different areas of the building at different times of the day. Worked closely with new hires and was entrusted to explain and be an example of how the daily activities were carried out. Developed strong teamwork and problem-solving skills by working with other student workers and campus faculty.

Provided exceptional customer service in a small, family-owned restaurant. Made close connections with regular customers who came to see me every Sunday morning. Other customers left positive reviews commending my admirable communication skills on TripAdvisor. Gained substantial experience in multitasking, conflict resolution, problem solving, and quick thinking. Sharpened my oral and verbal communication skills by speaking with many different customers each day.
