Current• General knowledge of land planning and civil engineering, as well as the supporting services.• Works in a high intensity atmosphere and is adaptable to unexpected changes to the workday and processes• Delegates tasks to part time administrative assistants, as well as support in the training of new administrative employees. • Consistently seeking new opportunities to assist senior level staff members and executives.• Maintaining the calendars of project managers, vehicles, and conference rooms to prevent overlaps, and allow time for setting up/breaking down meetings• Maintains attention to detail within a time sensitive, deadline driven workload• Facilitated the design and implementation of office policies and procedures• In office arm of the IT department• Assists the Accounting Department by working on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.• Oversees the general administrative tasks of the office• Handles confidential client and employee matters• Maintains a relationship with clients and vendors • Develops and implement programs which create a workplace culture that allows for high employee moral• Planning and hosting various business development events such as the Hampton Roads Commercial Coffee programs, AIA luncheon events, and client events. As well as attending events run by various networking groups within the Hampton Roads area.• Prepares and distributes divisional correspondence, memos, letters, reports, and other documents.• Assists the HR department in onboarding new and transferring employees• All around problem solver
