10+ years working on multimedia middleware, distributed systems, build systems and cross-platform applications with different kind of teams and organizations, building and leading technical teams.I founded LongoMatch 10 years ago, a video analysis software for sports that helps coaches and video analysts with their analysis workflows available in all mayor operating systems. LongoMatch is being used by amateur and professional teams in different kind of sports and championships, including the football World Cup or World and European handball championships. I started this project as a hobby and developed it alone for more than 6 years, in parallel with my job, until it became my profession when it was acquired by Fluendo. During these early years I had to manage all the aspects of the product and software development, including design, software development, testing, customer support or social media, which helped me gather a deep understanding in all the different phases of the product and software development chain.As a software engineer, I have been working in a wide range of projects around multimedia and cross-platform applications, like distributed video streaming platforms, audio and video codecs, multimedia middleware, adaptive streaming technologies, video analysis software, build systems and CI/CD systems or web API's. I have built a 2D canvas library, a multimedia engine, an object mapper for NoSQL databases or a C# MVVM framework among other projects, all of them being cross-platform with several backends using native API's.I have been involved in several Open Source projects, contributing to projects like GStreamer, GLib, Mono, Xamarin.Forms, Flumotion or Cerbero, both in my professional career and as a hobby.I am now CPO at Fluendo, where I lead both the product and engineering team in the development of our video analysis solutions.
