The Biomedical Research Alliance of New York (BRANY) is owned by "NYU School of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and Northwell Health," which are "four academic medical centers in the New York City area." BRANY provides human research trial support services, including Medicare coverage analyses, outsourced IRB services, and clinical research compliance. Services also include protocol writing software, clinical trial SaaS software, and compliance software. CITI Program is an independent division of BRANY and serves the global "training needs of colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, technology and research organizations, and governmental agencies."

I am currently working on a project that interprets health care experiences through drawing, painting, photography, and writing. • I have worked with approximately 40 health care entities, mainly related to Medicare compliance. Many of these entities have hundreds of clinics. • I help leadership who work within health care boards of directors, billing and coding, research, revenue cycle, general compliance, and Medicare compliance through complex risk events, such as through Medicare Advantage issues, CERT, MAC, and RAC audits, whistleblower matters, Corporate Integrity Agreements, Certification of Compliance Agreements, intense OHRP scrutiny, OHRP and FDA audits, and regulatory changes. • Although I have scaled other businesses, based on client preference, I do not scale my consulting practice and perform my portion of the work entirely myself, including the project and team management. For some projects, I am part of teams with different expertise, such as tech experts.• Create audit, corrective action plan, root cause analyses, and educational products for clients in health care, life sciences, and human research compliance sectors• Experience with auditing and compliance within a variety of Medicare payment models and audit types: fee for service, Medicare Advantage, and value based, population health models• Auditing and monitoring of a variety of Medicare issues: physician professional fee billing and coding, “incident to” billing, and RADV audits based on charts.• Audited coding and general compliance based on charts as due diligence for a private equity firm and buyer • Create compliance programs• Create data visualizations and analyses using Power BI and Tableau, as well as currently studying SQL.

Aegis Compliance and Ethics Center grew to become part of Ankura Consulting. • Performed Medicare coverage analyses for clinical research trials with application of National Coverage Determinations, Local Coverage Determinations, CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines, and Medicare Manuals; • Conducted investigations as to research ethics and compliance; and• Provided ICD-10 coding guideline interpretation and auditing for revenue cycle within health care entities.

• Beginning in 2007, recruited from Medicare Law class by professor to be part of the first group to develop Medicare coverage analyses of medicine and device clinical trials for health care entities as related to the False Claims Act across the US with a company that was a start up at the time. •. Performed quality assurance reviews of Medicare coverage analyses for a large consulting firm and an academic medical center. • Responsibility for all elements of effective human research compliance programs, including program creation, gap analyses, and program assessments. • Assistant Director, Quality Assurance/ Quality Improvement of a human research office at a research university• Led, prepared, and negotiated for cause and routine site visits from OHRP and the FDA, as well as assisted in drafting suggestions to new regulations during comment periods for a university. During this time, I served as the Principal Investigator on a pilot research study that evaluated the influence of design on compliance.
