CAD Model and Presentation- With the assistance of Xenoil and Wilkes University a team comprisedof me and my classmates were tasked to create a machine that takesliquid wax and created small pellets that can be sold by weight.- My role on the team was the CAD designer and I successfully createdconceptual models as well as engineering drawings for manufacturing.- At the end of the project we then presented the results of our projectto the engineering department.

Photo-lithography Experimentation- Using the experience of prior lab technicians, a team of students andI refined the process of using different chemicals to create masks onsilicon wafers.- As we gained more experience we developed the process to includesputtering metals onto the mask to perform the "lift up" process. Wewere successful in creating wafers that had patterns of thin metal thatcould be used as resistors.Mask Alignment Experimentation- The equipment’s alignment feature was broken; Using what we hadlearned in our classes, we fixed integral parts of the device and created a procedure to accurately align masks to create a circuit.- Using the new procedure, we successfully created an array of resistors onto a wafer.

First Article Inspections of Sheet Metal Products- Using precision measuring tools, I was able to quickly identify flawsin the manufacturing process and ensuring parts going to clientswere within specifications.- Excelled at accurately measuring parts with 25-100 dimensions whichincluded angular, linear, diameter, and radius designations.Designed Useful Products to Improve Production Productivity- Created CAD models and detailed drawings of paint hook racks andwelding fixtures.- Used my engineering background to choose materials, size members,and determine the proper thickness of welds.- My designs were then produced in-house making the jobs of manyeasier thus increasing productivity of various workflows.
