Andre Arnold is a Technologist and Chief Scientist, with a background in manufacturing, sports physiology, biomedical research, and wearable computing, for the Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Safety, Science, Security, and Sports sectors. Andre is an experienced leader in government technology transfer laboratories, academic scientific laboratories, and industry-based applied research. Andre has expertise in research and design of commercial telepresence and telehealth platforms, medical and communications technology, and personal protective equipment (PPE); and balances user-driven, client-driven, regulator-driven, and evidence-based perspectives. He develops technologies for enhanced human performance of Uniformed Personnel, workers in hazardous environments, operators of autonomous and remotely-piloted systems, athletes, and injured or disabled populations. He is creative in productization and manufacturing of: tools for enhanced human performance, clinical research instrumentation, orthotics and prosthetics, electronic textiles, uniforms and work apparel, scalable prototyping and production processes, usability processes, and experimental platforms. Andre is knowledgeable in intra/entrepreneurship, industrial design and product development, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, onshore manufacturing and mass-customization, nearshore and offshore manufacturing, and quality control and project management of agile multidisciplinary teams.
