I am currently responsible for the delivery of the Maintenance program and Asset Driven Projects for Western Power Metropolitan area and my Duties and Responsibilities include the following: o Ensure all HSEQ requirements are enforced proactively.o Ensure Project Scope is properly defined in accordance with Designo Ensure Projects are Allocated to relevant resources for execution and timeframes are defined and agreed according to organisation priority and focus.o Ensure that Project remain adequately resourced in terms of Materials, Services etc.o Manage financial welfare of all Contract Service Orders that contain project budget.o Approve all invoiceso Negotiate and approve Variationso Negotiating access to premises should the relevant owner or party deny such access or any other issues from clients.o Negotiate compensation/reinstatement in the case of damage to 3rd parties. o Provide periodic reports in terms of Program Schedule and Finances.o Manage financial reconciliation of materials and services when required. I engage with the following stakeholders:· Project Manager (Sometimes up to 3 PMs per project, depending the complexity.)· Designers (Responsible for Design)· Planners (Responsible for Resource Allocation)· Schedulers (Responsible for scheduling)· Clerk of Works (Responsible for Scoping and other general duties)· Category Managers (Subject Matter Experts)· Construction Managers (Responsible for managing crews for Projects delivered by internal resources)· Distribution Delivery Partners ( External Delivery Partners ie Thiess and West Coast Energy)· Suppliers (Responsible for providing materials, services etc)· Contract management· Clients (Complaints, Queries and Disputes)· Other Stakeholders (Shires, Environmental etc)· Project Support Officers (Upkeep of general Administration duties)

Sedcondment from Westernpower.While seconded to FutureGrid I was responsible to identify aged and problematic projects. A business analyses of each project's business case was done against current company strategies and goals.These business cases were then adjusted accordingly and recommendation on further strategies and outcomes for each project made. Projects that were not terminated was then managed against its new business case.Progress were evaluated on a weekly basis until final completion or termination of each project.While responsible for this project I worked with various stakeholders and also developed, maintained and constantly improved project strategies, reporting mechanisms and tools in order to ensure the success of the project.On completion of this project a legacy of new and improved systems and procedures are in place in an effort to prevent any reoccurrence.
