BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organisation. Since 1989, BEST has been providing communication, co-operation, and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe. As a member of BEST, I'm able to work on my soft skills and earn skills and experience in the most variable areas possible, attend to trainings and create connections with international students.

As Knowledge Management Responsible, I ensure that all the Knowledge in the Local BEST Group is updated and relevant. I also make sure that our events and organisation are GDPR compliant.I took on this challenge in order to work on my organisational skills and to get to know how to structurise knowledge in organisations, as I think this will have an important impact in my future as a student and leader.

After almost 2 years of being part of NQA I was elected president. NQA is an organization associated with AEFCT, headquartered at NOVA SST, one of the largest colleges nationwide, which has about 8000 students. It was founded in 2016, over its 7 years of existence, the Nucleus of Applied Chemistry has grown a lot. We have about 50 active members, and we organize several events with the aim of providing better interaction between teachers, students and external entities. We have 5 different departments: Public Relations, Corporate Relations, Human Resourses, Design and Science Departments. I'm responsible for dealing with everything from logistics and contracts to budgets and fostering good relationships with partner entities, it is a position with which I hope to learn to diversify myself, increase my network of contacts and improve, once again, my communication and negotiation skills.

As Social Media Coordinator I lead the Social Media Team of NQA, distribute tasks and make sure every social media in our domain is in order, motivate the members and help them with whatever they may need.

As a Data Analyst of the Social Media Team Project of the Public Relations Departmento of BEST, I retrieve, analyse and present the data of the different Social Media accounts of BEST. That data is of most importance as can help create a Marketing Strategy more sutable for our audiance and can take BESTs Social Media to a new level. Here I will develop my Analysis and Social Media Startegy Skills at the same time I work with a group of diverse youth like myself from countries like Italy and Turkey, allowing me not only to develep myself but also to empower my adaptability and capacity to engolge on different cultures and diverse mindsets.

Bachelor's Degree in Applied Chemistry at the Nova School of Science and Technology, here I have the opportunity to improve my hard skills and expertise in the laboratory, as well as building a sense of responsibility and teamwork with my colleagues.I also had the opportunity to go on an Erasmus+ Program to Barcelona, where I stayed for 6 months, this experience was very fulfilling as I develop my ability to adapt to new situations and was able to learn with different methods and create resoursefull conections and expand my network.This Bc's Program also gave me the opportunity to develop my own Project on "Síntese e Caracterização de Novos Corantes Fluorescentes Baseados em Sais de Flavílio" supervised by Dr. Nuno Basílio and Professor Jorge Parola, where I synthesised Flavylium dies and characterised their Fluorescence and had to write and do an oral presentation about the work done in those 6 months. This experience really impacted me and helped me getting insight on what to do in the future and I couldn't be happier with my grade of 18/20 on this Final Project

After two years in ANEQ, I had the honor of being elected as the President of the Supervisory Board, a role in which I had the responsability of insuring the good use and investment of our resources and suporvise our activities. The events organised by ANEQ not only ignited intellectual exchange but also facilitated extensive knowledge sharing among the participating universities. By wholeheartedly embracing collaborative initiatives and crafting pathways for seamless teamwork, I proudly contributed to the collective advancement of the field of chemistry, solidifying my commitment to inter-university cooperation and achievement.

I've had the privilege of cultivating dynamic connections between diverse universities, fostering enriching collaborations in the realm of chemistry. My role involved the creation of activities in order to create an approachable environment for different Chemistry Students Associations, as well as facilitating the communication between them and supporting the organising committee of ENEQUI (Nacional Meeting of Chemistry Students).

Between 16th and 28th of August I did my best to give a healthy and stable diet to the participants of TRAP'34, an event focused on creating BEST organisation trainers that will empower the organisation in the future, providing soft skills trainings to members throughout all of Europe, while I prepared the meals and guided different groups of people in kitchen work I also had the opportunity to network with around 30 international students. As the Food Responsible, I was also responsible for creating the food budget and adapting it throughout the event.

As the Public Relations Coordinator I'm responsable to lead, organize and inspire the team and it's members to reach their full potencial, both individually and as a group

As a contacher I'm responsible for contacting Companies of interest for BEST IT Competition and do all the follow-up necessary, with the main goal of reaching an agreement that would be beneficial for both BEST Almada and the Company

As a member of the Social Media Team of the Public Relations Team of BEST Almada, I have the responsibility to organised and publish on all social media BEST is involved, as well as contribute with new ideas to expand our media growth.

As the Co-Main Organiser of XIX Anniversary I had the responsibility of leading and orienting a team, contact companies and professors that would take part in the ceremony and create the logistic behind the two parts of the event.

As Marketing Responsible of LEoE I created de Visual Identity of the event, oriented both the Design team and Public Relations team, planned the advertisement of the event and made sure everything that was published was in order.

I had the opportunity to develop my practical skills and experience the work of an investigator/researcher in the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Research Group, in the project: "Synthesis of Dyes for Solar Energy Harvesting Photonic Materials", oriented by Professor Jorge Parola and Professor César Laia and financed by Fundação para a Ciências e a Tecnologia at Nova School of Science and Technology.
