This role was probably one of the most challenging I have ever taken, requiring a balance between work, university, and other projects. It involved an intensive nine-month effort to organise a nine-day course with the theme being Bioinformatics & Stitch in Biomolecular Sciences. The responsibilities include leading and coordinating a dedicated team to plan and execute a high-quality international educational course. The overall course plan was developed, encompassing objectives, schedules, and budgets in coordination with the host university, sponsors, and speakers. A multifaceted team was led with tasks delegated and supervised in areas such as logistics, finance, communication, academic content, and social activities. Ensuring the availability of all necessary resources, from venues and educational materials to accommodations and meals for participants, was a key task. Acting as the primary point of contact between the organising team, participants, speakers, and partners, it was essential to keep all stakeholders well informed and aligned with the course plan. Additionally, any issues or unforeseen events during the course were managed to ensure smooth operation. After the event, the course evaluation was coordinated, feedback was gathered, and reports were prepared for the BEST organisation and future organisers. This experience significantly developed skills in leadership, organisation, communication, and problem solving, providing the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver exceptional results.

Made part of the organization of a Spring Course with the theme "TurinX: the new horizon of Space Economy" that lasted 12 days, with the role of Co-organiser.

As a Contacter, I was responsible for making the first contact with several companies of interest for BEST Almada events (for example BEST IT Competition) and do all the follow-up necessary, which is based on contacting the companies via LinkedIn or email, with the main goal of reaching an agreement that would be beneficial for both, BEST Almada and the company.

Made part of the organization of a summer course with the theme "Cellulose, more than paper." that lasted 10 days (in Portugal), with the role of Participants responsible. The role consisted of accompanying participants, from all over Europe, in various activities, ensuring their participation in them and collecting feedback from participants about the event. And of course, in addition, ensuring everyone's well-being.
