Manage projects and technical sales of electrical autonomous power systems which include:Solar PV systems – Back-up systems – grid interactive systems – small wind systems Responsibilities• Working with the sales department to evaluate potential project, assist potential customers in acquiring all the information and develop a budgetary cost to support commercials offers & bid responses• Participating in development of project by assisting in site prospecting, assessment, liaison with consultants or other engineers and architects, selection of equipment and acquisition of permits with the main utility grid company• Designing and preparing drawings using AutoCAD• Helping to ensure compliance with the electrical code and staying current regarding the changing regulatory requirements • Managing multiple projects in multiple locations against tight time frames and budgets• Assisting in reading & writing the contract terms and making sure discrepancies are recognized• Assisting the marketing & sales department with comprehensive documentations to be published on our website or marketing tools to increase the company’s sales and visibility • Updating the cost, BOM (bill of materials), shipping cost and other data to refine accuracy of final cost, final report and design• Teaching basic notions of stand alone and grid tied wind and PV systems to help our dealers with systems sizing and design• Follow up with institutional, commercial, industrial and retail; increased visibility of the companyAchievements:• Improving company growth • Improving daily customers database and monthly report sales• Successful connection, troubleshooting and commissioning of more than 300 small and large scale projects ranging from 1 kW to 500 kW systems through Canada including MicroFit and FITIntensive knowledge of testing/ordinary tools: IV curve tools, insulation test tools, oscilloscope, solar power meter, multi meter, light meter, compass, imaging tools, bare code scanner
