A dedicated and skilled multimedia journalist, I have experience in several fields of journalism, including editing and writing entertainment and news (for newspapers, magazines, and digital online platforms), reporting for a television network (including video editing and scriptwriting).Working in the journalism field for five years has given me indispensable knowledge regarding online and on-camera journalism, long-form reporting, digital video production, interviewing, social media, SEO, and dedication to crafting stories that dig to the heart of both the entertainment and media industry.My specific experiences include interviews with high-profile individuals such as Will Smith, Mark Wahlberg, Tiffany Haddish, and Sir Anthony Hopkins, as well as interviewing local bands and discussing music news on online platforms.I began my career as a Chicago Tonight Fellow for WTTW where I assisted Producers with news coverage of a police-involved shooting of an unarmed teenager that led to months of protests and riots. I also worked for all major news affiliates in Illinois and Idaho where I covered crime, politics, education, and lifestyle. I have also provided coverage for various digital online media platforms in Los Angeles, New York City, and Chicago.
