I earned a BA in International Relations & History in the United States, and an MA in European Studies in Finland. With a passion for different cultures, I have studied over ten languages, as I have been working in language education since 2012. I taught Business English in Helsinki and in German cities such as Flensburg, Kiel, Hamburg, Freiburg, Mannheim, Magdeburg, Bonn, Karlsruhe, and Ulm, in different companies in Germany. In 2019, I obtained certification in Intercultural Communication training, which helped me immensely when I became an Academic Program Coordinator at a Business School in Berlin, later that year. In March 2020, however, I was promoted to an English teaching position. In December 2020, I relocated to the UK, where I continued in my function of Academic Lecturer, covering topics such as Academic Writing, and Introduction to Business, Economics, & Political Science. In September 2021, I transitioned to the Financial sector, taking up a position as Customer Service Representative within the department of International Payments of a Foreign Exchange company. The urge to work in an educational environment, nevertheless, took me back to a teaching setting, this time one more illustrative of our current realities. Since January 2022, I have been working as an online Business English trainer, where I again have the pleasure to cover cross-cultural and current relevant topics with students from all over the globe. Additionally, in February 2022, I took up yet another position within Education Management, as International Enrolment Officer, assisting in key stages of the student application cycle for a global Hospitality & Management consortium.
