· Security Specialist within the Governance, Corporate Safety & Security department for the GTAA· Responsible for monitoring camera systems for suspicious activity and various access control software programs, simultaneously· Primary communication hub for all security incidents and emergencies at Toronto Pearson International Airport· Liaison with government agencies (CBSA/USCBP/Transport Canada) to actively prevent threats against civil aviation · Prepare threat risk assessment reports and analysis to law enforcement agencies· Proactively working as a team, making crucial decisions in an extremely time sensitive environment · Provide excellent customer service and updated information to airlines/passengers/employees via radio, phone, intercom & email· Facilitate and coordinate emergency maintenance work airside/terminals/groundside· Ensuring all safety and security requirements are met for outsourced contractor projects and in-house trades projects· Deliver operational support to meet the passengers traffic flow; sector swings, departures security check points, arrivals into Canada Customs Hall, International to International passenger(s) transfers and transportation arrangements
