To assure QMS is used and effective.• Inspection activities are carried out in accordance with Witten Practice and Procedure, as defined by the ISO standard.• Oversee the activity of the appointed team leaders.• Provide effective technical supervision, training and advice to all appointed team supervisors and inspectors.• Liaise with clients on technical issues concerning inspection.• Provide top management with the relevant technical information relating to inspection on the various jobs.• Ensure that inspection policies are kept current and up-to-date by the Management Representative, and that they are in line with national and international standards.• Deal with suggestions for improvements from staff, and make appropriate recommendations to the management team. • Liaise with external service providers such as certification bodies and legal specialists.• Ensure that legal requirements and statutory requirements are referenced and communicated to those that have a need to know.• Ensure that all inspection reporting is up to the standards defined in the Inspection and Quality Management System, and the standard expected by the client.
