Handling of all marine technical matters. To make sure staff are well trained and informed in duties to be carried out. To assure QMS is used and effective.• Inspection activities are carried out in accordance with Witten Practice and Procedure, as defined by the ISO standard.• Oversee the activity of the appointed team leaders.• Provide effective technical supervision, training and advice to all appointed team supervisors and inspectors.• Liaise with clients on technical issues concerning inspection.• Provide top management with the relevant technical information relating to inspection on the various jobs.• Ensure that inspection policies are kept current and up-to-date by the Management Representative, and that they are in line with national and international standards.• Deal with suggestions for improvements from staff, and make appropriate recommendations to the management team. • Liaise with external service providers such as certification bodies and legal specialists.• Ensure that legal requirements and statutory requirements are referenced and communicated to those that have a need to know.• Ensure that all inspection reporting is up to the standards defined in the Inspection and Quality Management System, and the standard expected by the client.

• Put together working Qc systems modify, create or improve existing.• Reviews and assesses the effectiveness of changes including drafting for QC purposes.• Provides technical support to worksites, engineers, quality control team, for all activities concerning fabrication, welding and non-destructive controls.• Ensure quality standards and procedures are met as per the organizational and legislative standards• Ensures that there are quality plans , inspection test plans and quality procedures for all project• Periodically conduct quality standards audits on suppliers to ensure quality standards are met• Supports projects and coordinates operations during external inspections• Ensures correct specifications on order & inspection on these requirements• Review drawings & technical specification for compliance and drafting them up in producing a Top Quality Up to date Data Packs mainly for big projects.• Showing a commitment to building an excellent working relationship with employees and people with whom the Company is associated with. • Managing Oil rigs and ships repairs and upgrades• Assist estimating department to compile price proposals• Pre-project planning for Yard Stay (Africa)• QCP and Project Organization• Manage logistical engineering requirements• Manage subcontractors scope execution plan • track project execution with the Project planner• chair Project Meetings with the project team, and report to Clients daily• track project expenditure against all tasks• Compile Project Close Out report and document Lessons Learnt• Manage the HSE requirement for the project.• Project risk identification, analysis and mitigation.• Client requirement analysis.• Ensure project delivery according to applicable Class requirement.• Ensure NDT on welds and weld inspections is done according to Class requirement• Ensure offshore accommodations are built according to class and comply to MED on offshore

Inspection of Materials like Plate, Pipe, Pipe fittings and Structural items in accordance with IACS ASTM/ASME/EN Standards including review of MTCs and to report•Review of WPS/PQR/WPQ •Witness of WPS & Welder/ Welding Operator Qualifications tests•Witness of Mechanical tests like tensile, bend, impact etc. in Laboratory and review of Test Reports •Stage wise inspections of pressure vessel, ship/rigs/ fpso, piping, Structural, against approved ITP during manufacturing stage.•Inspection of painting/ coating heat exchanges, storage tank, pumps, pipelines, steel structures during manufacturing, installation and in service & preparation of inspection reports•Assist estimating department to compile price proposals•Assist project management with tasks.•Project management training
