My responsibilities were to respond to client support inquiries, monitor Safe-Guard's applications and systems using SolarWinds and Site24x7, verify their proper functioning, and initiate incident response when needed. This includes receiving and prioritizing client help requests, engaging IT Client Support resources as needed, and coordinating responses and solutions with our clients.

I work in a Service Desk call center for Amtrak answering incoming calls to support Amtrak employees and its contractors. We try to resolve technical issues that can vary between application and hardware. The applications extend to O365 issues to MS Office 2013 client We also service request work orders for the users. We perform account unlocks, domain password resets, and map users to groups by using a proprietary Admin tool. Assist with configuring RSA tokens.

As a Technical Support Analyst CompuCom, I was the sole provider of technical support for up to 45 users for the first shift at a GE Power and Water warehouse. I supported desktops and laptops, assembling work stations, imaged computers, and worked with the onsite network team to resolve outages. I also cooperated with the Oracle team to resolve ERP issues. Another major task was to support and provide upkeep for Motorola scanners and Zebra label printers. Along with computers, I supported printers and kept an inventory on toner and devices.

As a Windows 7 tech, my responsibility was to migrate users that were in remote areas from XP to Windows. We completed this task by sending users external hard drives and Cisco ASA 5505 (if needed) devices. I also answered calls and provided post migration support. We utilized Symantec pcAnywhere to remote to users and push software onto post migrated computes. This was a short-term project for BCD Travel.
