Biomedical Engineer: Support Specialist
Current• Provide onsite and remote support for specialized stereotactic radiosurgery treatment software and hardware at more than 25 cancer centers in the service area. Support includes remote troubleshooting, installations, quarterly service visits, and preventative maintenance of systems.• Streamline cost-efficient installation across various teams within the hospital setting, encompassing radiation oncology, IT, contractors, and project management.• Installations include physical install of hardware for patient positioning system and configuring Windows-based workstations and servers with proprietary software.• Resolve technical issues with radiotherapy and surgical navigation products through root-cause analysis and system verification.• Translate customer needs into actionable items for R&D team.• Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including physicists, therapists, Biomedical and IT staff, on the use of BrainLAB products and services.• Read, analyze, interpreted and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Territory: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Missouri, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Illinois
