EXPERIENCE:Information Security Analyst - Currently provide hands-on assistance in the activities of security categorization, security control selection, implementation and security control monitoring based on DoD and industry security best practices in support of the Distributed Common Ground System–Navy Increment 2 (DCGS-N Inc 2) enterprise suites at SSC SPAWAR.- Conducted cyber risk analysis in accordance to Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 199 & 200 to ascertain potential architecture and equipment risks, vulnerabilities and recommended mitigations within the (DCGS-N Inc 2) program.- Conducted security control assessments to verify that the implementation and operation of information systems are meeting the stated security goals and objectives in accordance to NIST Special Publication 800-53A.- Provided executive summaries with specific focus on the required information for the assessment and authorization (A&A) efforts within the realm of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the RMF life cycle- Document information system changes as part of routine System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and assessing the potential impact of those changes may have on the security state of the system for reauthorization when appropriate¬- Provide analysis and performance validation metrics, design, configure, and implement ACAS (Tenable Nessus) Security Center and Nessus scanners for each enclave.- Perform SCAP benchmark and STIG checklists, run SECSCN and WASSP scans for DCGS-N Inc 2.- Validation/mitigation/remediation solutions for IA accreditation (IATT and future IATO) for DCGS-N Inc 2.- Utilize NAVINTEL XACTA/MANIFEST IA Manager for RMF supporting package development and the A&A process for classified systems.- Utilize Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for RMF supporting package development and the A&A process for un-classified systems
