• Worked on the Probing Protein Aggregation project at the Martí lab by studying the interaction between beta amyloid fibrils and ruthenium and rhenium metal complexes
• Utilized photoluminescence and fluorescence experimentation, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, transmission electron microscopy, and chromatography methods like high performance liquid.

• Part of the Community Bridges Fellowship which combines academic study with active fieldwork in the Greater Houston Community to address urban inequality and poverty issues
