I started my experience in Sariv as Operations Project Manager involved in the digital transformation of the company according to Industry 4.0 methodology, consisting in the implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), for the measuring of production performances and for the control of the production flow. The project aims and main activities were:- analyses and mapping of the production processes;- analyses and integration of the logistic flows in the new digital system;- connecting the MES system with the ERP and PDM softwares;- definition of the total traceability system (tool, machine, materials, employe, outsourcing process);- implementation of a Statistical Process Control (SPC) system for quality controls and capability studies;- integration of the system with the production equipment in order to collect data directly from machines.Furthermore, I was designated as Quality Manager. I managed the transaction of the quality management system from ISO 9001 to IATF 16949 norm, reviewing the company processes, with a special focus on the implementation of the following core tools:- product and process design according to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) manual and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) validation;- Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) studies and control plan;- study of production processes capacity using SPC methodology;- claim management (internal, supplier and customer claims), root cause analysis and 8D report;- execution of system and process audits;- execution of process audits at suppliers plant.Actually, I am head of quality and I am leading a team responsible of quality and processes development. Specifically, I take care of customer requests during projects development and I am responsible of team activities with focus on:- layout review and technology upgrade of production processes;- continuous improvement;- projects of digital transformation according to Industry 4.0 methodology.
