I have been blessed to fill a number of volunteer positions that have allowed me to strengthen myself and to support my community. I’ve served as a volunteer firefighter; working house fires, catastrophic weather events and fatal accidents. I’m a National Award Recipient for Girl Scout of the USA for my work as a corporate level Finance Coordinator for Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan; helping with a complete corporate restructure and training other adults to serve in a similar volunteer capacity. Currently, I’m the President of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lapeer, Tuscola and Huron Counties. I find nothing more rewarding than serving my community in a capacity that allows me to influence positive change.Professionally, I have worked in some aspect of the insurance industry for over a decade. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Human Resources. Additionally, I have spent years training and honing my personal individualization qualities which allow me to see the unique qualities of each person I interact with. This is important as it provides me the ability to see things from the perspectives of others and to identify with their view points. When problem solving, I take psychological responsibility for things I commit to and always act with conscientiousness and ethics taking precedence. Honesty and integrity are two traits I will never betray.
