Hi, my name is Andrea and I'm currently working towards a BS in register nursing and BS in public health science.I graduated East Los Angeles College in 2021 with two degrees: AA Journalism & AA Social and Behavioral Science and transferred to CalState Long Beach. I will be obtaining my public health science associate degree by Fall 2024. My goal is to graduate in 2026.I've only worked in two jobs that don't contribute to my field, however, they have taught me valuable skills that I can apply to in my daily life. As far as experience in journalism goes, I've collected some from being a staff writer to doing graphics for ELAC's Campus News. Additionally, I've obtained experience from being a layout designer/editor for South Gate High School's Rambler Newspaper.In addition, my accumulative time with America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses has opened the opportunity for me to become a certified optical technician and to gain experience within the medical field.
