I am currently responsible for the Client Service Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting and Tax teams across the UK - 450 staff. This is inclusive of supporting clients and ensuring we deliver optimal service and enhanced operational support. Clients range from Insurance, Asset Managers and Asset Owners. I have also been appointed the COO for our largest UK client, where I have the responsibility of delivering a first class service, minimising risk and enhancing profitability.The role has a high risk profile and necessities building excellent relationships across all operational support teams globally as well as representing the department at senior audit, compliance, risk management and fiduciary committees.I am responsible for managing and leading the business plan and budgets for the GS department in line with corporate goals and agreed strategy.Layout a 3 year strategy plan year on year to meet expected targets across all facets of my organisation.Ensure that the business has the right resources, including staff, IT , financial and oversight functions to operate effectivelyEnsure that the business unit operates in compliance with internal policies and the fluid external regulatory environment.Conduct periodic business reviews ensuring associated risks are identified and managed and appropriate remedial action is taken.Sponsor and deliver large, complex strategic programs across the department and other State Street areas as appropriate

This role was created to focus on Risk Excellence within the EMEA Distribution area. Its primary focus was to review and enhance roles, responsibilities and processes across the business with a commitment to enhance the client experience. It has a broad horizontal and vertical outlook coupled with a knowledge of our changing EMEA regulatory landscape. The EMEA Client Service teams and the Client Contracting teams report into the role with some project support.

I worked for State Street Global Advisors and Head Up 5 departments across Europe. These consist of Shareholder Services, Trade Administration, New Business, Reporting/Client Service and Projects. I was also involved in a number of strategic Global projects from On-Boarding to implementing a central data system across operations.

I ran the Derivates team at GlobeOP, which covered the end to end spectrum from pricing to NAV publication. I was responsible for 120 staff across London and Mumbai. I was also responsible for the Relationship Management team within the derivatives department.

I ran the Operational Departments of Citigroup Asset Management in the UK.
