My Career Endeavor/Objective: I have always been an advocate for equity and justice on economic and educational disparities within underprivileged communities. I advocate for students, especially first-generation students, and those against adversities fight forwards for their educational goals. I recently ascertained my Master's Degree (MSW) from the University of Southern California in Social Work, emphasizing Social change and Innovations. I have a wealth of understanding and experience within the populations of first-time college enrollees, increasing their awareness of the necessity for educational advancement: Foster-youth and marginalized groups. I have conducted countless. Hours to research the importance of diversity within higher education institutions, specifically curricula and funding discrepancies and the rising "educational aptitude gap." My ultimate goal is to impact lasting change and empower persons of color through rigorous counseling, research, advocacy, and more to create applicable methods for stimulating educational equality.
