Through personal experiences and engaging with different curriculums and courses around the world, I have developed a personal teaching philosophy that explores the importance of hands-on experiences and inclusivity. I focus on individualized instruction for students using appropriate assessment and data collection.My credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Kansas and soon a Master's in Teaching Special Education. I am working towards the Missouri certification in Special Education K-12 upon completion of my program. I am currently registered for a sequential Master of Arts in Reading from Webster University within the year. I have at least 3 years of teaching experience in the United States wherein I developed and taught developmentally appropriate curriculum in inclusive learning environments dedicated to supporting students with atypical learning abilities. I have collaborated with teachers and administrators to address the academic needs of students and devised alternate approaches for students with diverse learning requirements. I trained under a practicing Ph.D. and BCBA Behavior Analyst and worked as a Learning Specialist using Applied Behavior Analysis techniques for two years. During this time, I served as a tireless resource and enabled the development of lasting relationships amongst the students, their parents and teachers.
