I work at a day program supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The community integration program encourages individuals with developmental disabilities to gain work and volunteer experiences out in the community. While out in the community I take advantage of opportunities to teach the participants I am supporting about public safety and.

Safely transported hospital patients to and from medical areas within the hospital by bed, stretcher, or wheelchair. Used my strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients while in transport to put their worries at ease.

Assisted lead teach with daily activities to help students enjoy learning. Helped in maintaining a clean and safe classroom where children were excited to spend their day. Led the class in story time and in yoga exercises.

Developed and implemented daycare plans for children.Assisted children with school work and made learning a fun experience. Taught students about the benefits of recycling which led to a school-wide campaign. Cooperated with my co-teacher in using both of our talents to better our classroom.
