CurrentProject Objective:Lead economic assessments of the ACs Replacement initiatives, to support its adoption as government policy.The new replacement program addresses small shops and single family homes by offering replacement of old and inefficient split ACs with new and efficient split ACs.The scope of the intern's work is to develop a thorough quantitative economic assessment of the investments needed costs and benefits of the program, from the perspective of the target consumers, the government and any other program participants (AC supplier). This should be accompanied by a risk-assessment, a sensitivity analysis for the benefits and finally with some recommendations for adjusting the programs to improve their reach or likelihood of success.
