I complete a through intake and assessment, including ROM, onset of concern, duration, pathology, lifestyle/activities, etc. After explaining my process and gaining consent, I then perform an initial 2 hour protocol to determine location of soft tissue damage and limitations, including trigger points, adhesions, scar tissue and guarding. This flexible protocol also allows me to determine depth and pressure for each individual client. I then construct a baseline treatment plan and discuss this with the client along with alternatives so that he/she is well informed. I move forward with the Treatment Plan and adjust as needed and providing client education/homework as indicated and appropriate. I am a results- oriented and client-center practitioner so I routinely provide progress feedback to my clients so they too can track their progress. I refer out if beyond my scope of practice. I have several clients that have been with my practice since I started my education back in 2009.I have acquired over 150 CEUs during my decade long career. I am well versed in Trigger Point Therapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cupping, Graston and Medical Massage. During my training I was appointed Director of Education by Marilyn Vesleck. owner of the Institute of Therapeutic Massage of Western Colorado, as well as the Anatomy/Physiology Instruction for the Institute.I have been credited by several of my clients for saving them from surgical intervention.
