Currently I am teaching in a self-contained Intensive Social Instruction classroom (ISI) while also acting as the In-School Coordinator for special education. Within this role, I work closely with all special education teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure all special education services are delivered, act as LEA for IEP meetings, help complete initial referrals through MTSS, conduct Functional Behavior Analysis and examine data to then complete a Behavior Intervention Plan for students, and ensure that all special education deadlines are met across 100 students with special needs.

Coordinated Response to Intervention implementation and data collection, conducted educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and services, collaborated with general education teachers to differentiate instruction for students, and developed and implemented Individualized Educational Programs for students ages 3-5.
