I am currently a temp Probation Officer. I have held posts with Essex and London CRC. My employment history I initially trained as a Montessori Teacher in 1987. I worked in this field until 1991. After leaving university in 2003, I began a career in the Probation Service. In addition to being a generic Probation Officer, I went on to specialise in drug, alcohol and prolific offending. Each of these roles afforded me valuable experience in multi agency working in addition to working with people with complex needs.Between 2014-2018 I provided citizenship workshops to young people in schools and community groups. We tackled areas such as crime, drugs, alcohol, conflict resolution, bullying, diversity and generating acceptable coping and social skills.
