I consult on the grant-funded project "Improving the efficiency of creating image descriptions for students with print disabilities". The goal of this project is to create open source tools that can integrate with a variety of workflows in producing accessible educational materials (AEM), reducing the barriers in the educational life of students with print disabilities. As the Behavioral Research Consultant on this project, I: - Consult on the experimental design- Plan the analysis of behavioral data- Run statistical analysis and interpret the resultsfor testing the usefulness and efficacy of the Image Categorization Expert System, which is used to facilitate the production of accessible educational materials.
