1. Political dialogue and negotiation with EU Headquarters, local government, and implementation partners on the allocation of funds to EU development cooperation in Costa Rica on issues such as migration, human rights, and climate change.2. Formulation and planning of new EU-funded projects in line with EU priorities, as well as ensuring synergies with existing programs.3. Servicing the Ambassador by preparing political analyzes, speeches, briefings, meeting minutes, and organization of meetings and missions. 4. Management of projects with a budget of up to EUR 5 million implemented by the UN, EU Member States or civil society.5. Results: Increased the number of EU-funded projects in Costa Rica from a small portfolio to projects with a total amount over EUR 50 million. In addition, I personalized and improved diplomatic relations with the government in the field of development cooperation.

Lima Province, Peru

1. Fieldwork of 5 months duration, where I have identified and created contacts with the local trade union movement, employers' organizations and local NGOs, conducted 7 interviews with key stakeholders as well as analyzed concepts such as informal economics, labor rights, social dialogue and conditions for the local trade union movement.2. Results: The fieldwork resulted in data, which I analyzed in collaboration with colleagues and transformed into a 45-page report, which concluded that Peru has an extremely fragile labor market with a large informal economy and a weak trade union movement. The report serves as a foundation for the future work of the Danish Trade Union Development Agency in Peru.

Lima Province, Peru

1. Capacity building of local travel agencies by first understanding their needs and working methods, followed by coaching them and giving on courses on streamlining their daily work, communication skills, and knowledge of European travel culture. This with a goal of increasing sales of international travels.2. Sales and planning of travels for European customers to Latin America.3. Results: Developed a concrete strategy for training and capacity building of local travel agencies in Peru, which resulted in increased sales figures.

Arusha, Tanzania

1. In charge of the planning, implementation, and monitoring of programs in East Africa regarding labor rights, vocational training, health care, and community capacity building2. Responsible for a project focused on capacity building of local nurses and midwives in the Arusha region in collaboration with Maternity Foundation 3. Donor and consortium coordination with Danish and international partners 4. Planning and coordination of Danish volunteers/interns visiting Tanzania5. Monitoring and evaluation by continuously gathering data on progress as well as reporting to donors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the EU

1. Monitoring of programs supporting labor unions in the MENA region2. In charge of the quarterly monitoring and evaluation of these programs3. Assisting in the donor coordination with partners such as Danish Industry (DI) and Danish Refugee Council (DRC) 4. Responsible for organizing a gender network focusing on sharing experiences and knowledge of gender issues in relation to the labor market between Denmark and 7 Middle Eastern countries5. 1. Developing reports and policy papers regarding human rights, informal settlements and forced evictions on a global scale2. Participating in the Human Rights Council evaluating human rights initiatives in various UNHABITAT programs and official documents3. Assisting in monitoring and measuring of the progress of a project regarding participatory slum upgrading and WASH in urban informal settlements in Mwanza, Tanzania4.
