Hello, I’m Andrea! Currently I am working for a small nurse case management company as a case manager/patient advocate for auto accident patients, attending appointments, coordinating care and working with auto insurance to help secure funding for medical care and equipment related to their injuries. My most recent employment opportunities include RN case manager at Grace hospice Grand Rapids for 1.5 years , Providing hands-on nursing care and education to individuals suffering from terminal illnesses, and their families, and two years experience working as Patient Care Coordinator for a small substance abuse treatment clinic in Detroit, MI, providing basic medical care and public health education to an underserved adult population recovering from opiate addiction and various co-occuring disorders and complex health issues. I also have 4.5 experience as an Emergency Room nurse at a Level 1 Trauma center, which was incredibly exciting to say the least. I also have customer service experience, and obtained my CEN (certified emergency nurse) in 2018. Currently studying for my case management certification.
