Thanks for visiting my page on Linkedin! My name is Andrea Sutton, and I am passionate about equitable access to knowledge and education. As a first-generation college-student, a lifelong learner, and a laywoman scientist, education has opened many doors for me and fostered my sense of community. Thus, it often drives my passion to be successful in my efforts to provide opportunities for the communities I love. I am currently serving our Southwest Denver community at DSST: College View as a Director of Curriculum and Instruction. I continue to grow personally and professionally at DPS and DSST as I lead in order to change and better programming at our school and network. I am always looking to find opportunities to learn more and connect with others who want to discuss change management, the educational future of our country (and beyond), or curriculum and instructional development from the preschool to high school levels!When I am not focusing on my role as an educator, I am taking classes for my next degree. I have had the opportunity to study at NYU, Relay Graduate School of Education, and now take classes at Denver Community College. Outside of that, I might be in the mountains hiking or snowboarding, or in Denver cooking or running.
