As the Sustainability Project Manager for Louisville Metro Government, my responsibilities included…• Working as part of a team to implement the citywide sustainability plan;• Negotiating multi-partner contracts;• Writing RFPs, grants and award applications (My writing helped Louisville Metro win three Conference of Mayors awards, a $75,000 Army Corps of Engineers grant, and acceptance into the 100 Resilient Cities program);• Meeting with state and local officials to evaluate policy implementation options; and• Coordinating 80+ stakeholders to develop projects, policies and programs to mitigate Louisville’s urban heat.
