- Ensure all necessary and legally compliant procedural steps are taken for the launch, evaluation and award of EFSA procurement and grant procedures;- Support colleagues to resolve complex contract and grant management issues, including application of contractual penalties, contract termination and advice on ownership and intellectual property issues;- Ensure the implementation of effective planning, monitoring and reporting of procurement and grants in close cooperation with all EFSA Units;- Support EFSA colleagues in the drafting and review of tender specifications, including selection and award criteria aiming to enhance call clarity and chances of success;- Contribute to disseminate procurement, grants & contract management knowledge in the organisation;Work with other EU agencies on mutually collaborative agreements with a view to leveraging on market experience and combining buying power;- Contribute to the implementation of e-procurement solutions;- Monitor relevant legislation and case law in the field of procurement and grants in order to ensure compliance with the rules applicable to EFSA outsourcing;- Drive continuous process improvements and innovation initiatives.

Tasks and responsibilities: - Overall coordination of the regular financial reporting for the delegated budget- Producing and distributing the financial reports- Processing financial transactions- Managing internal and external audits including liaison with relevant counterparts in other EU bodies- Performing financial viability checks for external parties- Acting as Financial Verifying Agent on commitments, payments and recoveries for grants (H2020/Horizon Europe, Copernicus, Egnos, Galileo) and procurement.

- Managing procurement processes in cooperation with operational units. Provision of advice in the choice of procurement procedures and types of contracts; - Preparing negotiated, restricted and open procedures, preparing technical specifications and ensuring sound financial management in all activities; - Contributing to the development and the correct application of procurement andcontract management procedures;- Drafting and preparing contracts in the procurement field; monitoring and checking contracts implementation, supporting the contract managers and initiating the necessary steps for the contract renewal or other amendments if applicable;- Contributing to the drafting of annual procurement plan, monitoring and reporting on itsimplementation.

Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs - DG GROWFinancial Management of Space Programmes- Managed activities of the grant lifecycle: preparation of call for proposals, verify compliance of the proposal with rules of submission, budget evaluation in cooperation with Operational officers, preparation of award decision and of grant agreement, checking interim and final reports, prepare amendments, verify obligations of beneficiaries; - Managing procurement processes;- Financial planning and advising for technical units, tenderers, service providers and beneficiaries of grants; - Supporting the draft and negotiation of call for proposals and grant agreements;- Budget analysis and reporting; - Audit analysis and support;- Management of Framework Partnership Agreement "Caroline Herschel" aimed to increase the use of Copernicus data and information (user uptake) and support Member States authorities exploitation of Copernicus data and information (business solutions and innovative applications). The programme aimed to improve outreach of Copernicus activities towards companies, national and regional authorities, universities and research centres. I managed activities with a consortium of public entities composed by 50 members from 23 Member States;- Preparation of the annual WP of space programmes Copernicus and Galileo advising on modes of implementation;- Support the work of the Copernicus procurement board, in charge of supervise and approve procurement activities of delegated entities (ESA and EUMESTAT);- Initiation and follow-up of contribution agreements; - Manage ABAC workflows, introduce budgetary and legal commitments, invoices, payment orders, recoveries and check information concerning beneficiaries.

- Provided early intelligence on potential funding opportunities;- Monitored EU policies relevant for the British Council, especially policies pertaining to Education, Employment, Research and Development and Social Enterprise;- Supported the production of funding applications, developing track records, providing ongoing advice on EU programmes procedures and rules.- Coordination of projects under contribution agreements supported by the Structural Reform Support Service (SRSS) of the Secretariat General of the European Commission (DG REFORM). I drafted action plans, set KPIs, monitored activities and prepared reports. In charge of supporting the business development and project delivery for branches of the company based in EU and in Eastern European countries – 13 projects managed for a total value of EUR 20 million. - Policy work: participation to stakeholder meetings and meeting of umbrella organisations (IGLO RTD, Practitioners' Network for European Development Cooperation). Support to preparation of policy papers; - Organisation of trainings for colleagues of the global network of the British Council on project management, advocacy, financial management and impact measurement.

Project Manager of the project "EUth - Tools and Tips for Digital and Mobile Youth Participation in and across Europe", an innovative action funded under the programme Horizon 2020. I was responsible of developing participative workshops in the events organized by AEGEE, the European Students' Forum. I delivered training sessions to members of AEGEE concerning the consultation methodology of the digital tool EUth and on the topic of digital democracy. I contributed to the advocacy activities towards the European institutions on topics related to digital agenda, participation policies and study exchange programmes. I worked on external relations, on the management and on the establishment of partnerships with institutions, education providers and companies. The partnerships aimed to promote services, educational programmes and job vacancies to the audience of students and young people reached by AEGEE-Europe via internal communication tools and social media.

In charge of the initiative "MIRRIS" aimed at encouraging a better exploitation of European Research and Innovation programs in 13 EU member states. The action foreseen the organization of 39 round tables in the 13 countries (the ones which joined the EU as from 2004) involving policy makers and other institutional actors in order to mobilize the stakeholders to promote the institution reforms in the domain of R&D&I. I was in charge of organizing events, of cooperating with heads of the research administration offices of several research institutes including the KU Leuven University, the University College London and the Jožef Stefan Institute. Part of my job consisted in monitoring EU and national legislation and regulation concerning research and innovation as well as the policies to support participation in FP7 and Horizon 2020. I was also in charge of the FP7 Coordination and Support Action CASI, aimed at developing a common framework for assessment and management of sustainable innovation. I was in responsible of the organization of the Citizens' panel in Italy, together with the University of Milan Bicocca and the Municipality of Monza. Project GReaC, Getting ready for capital: in charge of elaborating a training course to improve the skills of entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs in pitching to investors. I have been working on the project Sharing Experience on European Regional Policy funded by the EC DG for Regional Policy, aimed to offer to civil and public servants from the ENCs access to expertise and practices on European regional policy thanks to information session to each of the ENCs involved and a two-week study visit for a group of up to 15 participants from each of the ENCs involved in relevant EU regions. I worked with the delegations from Georgia, Moldova, Morocco, Tunisia and Ukraine.

The European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA) has a membership of about 70 regional development agencies from across the European Union and in non EU countries. EURADA aims to keep its members up to date with EU policy developments and provides briefing on critical issues such as state aid rules. During my experience with EURADA I worked on: - Monitoring EU legislative and regulatory activities relevant for the organization (Access to Finance, EU 2020 strategy, FP7, regional development policies);- Managing the participation of EURADA in the project ENP European Neighbourhood Policy - Sharing Experience on European Regional Policy, providing training sessions to officers from local and national authorities from neighbor countries (Morocco, Tunisia, Belarus and Ukraine) on the topics related with regional economic development;- Providing assistance and support in preparation of reports and position papers addressed to EU institutions;- Support in the organization of statutory events - board of members and board of directors;- Support in the organization of conference "Social and Societal Innovation to help unemployed youth. Which role for the Regions, the Member States and the European Union?"

Coordinator of several youth exchanges and work camps organized in cooperation with the Youth information centre of the municipality of San Giorgio a Cremano - Naples. The activities were developed on several topics (creative recycle, valorisation of archaeological heritage, culinary traditions) with the aim of empowering young people, increasing their autonomy and allowing them to start projects independently. Coordinator for a youth exchange on the theme of the Mediterranean Diet. The project was funded by Italian national agency for the program "Youth in Action". The project involved 20 young people from Spain, Greece, Turkey and Italy. The aim was to promote an healthy lifestyle, the local traditions and the local products, using the food as tool to know other cultures.

Administrative support in the activities of the office. In the period I worked on the new commercial plan for the city of Naples.

I have been working on the preparation of the press review about news on Italy (politics, economy and culture) in the Spanish newspapers. I was in charge of the elaboration of politic messages under the supervision of the head of office about Spanish politics and economy to send to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Italy.Preparation of reports concerning the Spanish political and economical situation, namely related with the regional and national elections and with the main measures undertaken by the central government to support economic growth.
