I care!My passions are rooted in growing up in an immigrant family from Mexico that supported my numerous passions in health, fitness, music, and sports. I have always set high expectations in myself to achieve my goals and along the way, I have faced many challenges that took a lot of support and determination to overcome. Now, it is my turn to translate the lessons that I have learned and be that support for our members of society. It matters to me that people internalize their importance and that they feel valuable at the end of the day, no matter how much progress that they have made. Being different is what makes us unique!I am eager to apply my strengths when working with people with disabilities by showing my empathy through attentive listening, by creating an action plan that they are comfortable with that also challenges their comfort zones, and by being a reliable source of support to create the most impact in their lives.
