Hello! My name is Andrea Casini and I am currently attending the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University as a senior. I am a 5-year student majoring in Economics and minoring in Philosophy and Politics. As a dedicated student-athlete on the Men's Swim & Dive team, I balance my academic pursuits with competitive athletics, showcasing my commitment and time management skills.Currently, I am working as a research assistant at Drexel University, where I am studying the effect of the Fed's new Average Inflation Targeting (AIT) policy on low-income households, titled “Average Inflation Targeting: A Tool to Fight Poverty and Inequality?” This role has allowed me to deepen my quantitative analysis skills and broaden my understanding of the potential implications of monetary policy for economic stability and social equity. As I aspire to pursue a PhD in Economics, I am eager to leverage my research experience and analytical abilities to contribute to impactful policy development that addresses economic challenges and promotes social justice.
