As a member of the EIT Digital Accelerator team, Andrea over the years covered different roles: from active member of several focus areas (from Smart Energy Systems, to Digital Tech and Digital Health & Wellbeing) he was the Italian Node Correspondent and the Accelerator Wellbeing Market Leader.Since 2021 he has been part of the sourcing team with the mandate to spot most promising scale-ups from Italy, the Balkans, Greece, and CEE to join the accelerator program.

After having decided to end my long and successful experience at Italtel, I am acting as consultant for communication, marketing and business development in various SMEs operating in the following market segments: Photovoltaic & Renewable Energies, ICT & Public Administration. In particular I am among the consultants of a pool of mayors in Lombardy for the promotion and execution of EIB approved projects related to the Coventant of Mayors Project.

In the IT & Security M&BD dept I am in charge of:- Coordinating the company's demonstration center including a team of two people- Building up new ICT services Proof-of-Concepts in collaboration with R&D and IT depts. - Evaluating and promoting both inside and outside new business in the web 2.0 and emerging collaboration arena.

Main objectives and competences: - plan and execute all promotional activities (e.g. company's participation in tradeshows and events organization)- manage all co-marketing initiatives- study and execute advertising plans- coordinate customer communications activities

I plan and organize the participation of the company in trade exhibitions and conferences, coordinating all the promotional activities towards the various market segments, taking care also of the production of all the below-the-line materials.I am the person in charge of positioning the CEO and the other top executives, supporting them also as speech writer, in the most important conferences.Studying the advertising guidelines with the objective promoting the brand of the company I am leveraging on co-marketing actions with Italtel strategic partners (Cisco Systems and Telecom Italia).Being responsible of a team of two persons I coordinate also two agencies for the creativity, one for below-the-line and one for advertising, and two media agencies, one for the communication on the economic-financial press and one for activities on trade magazine.

The role was mainly studied to give pre-sales support to a small sales force, as well to manage the communication of the German mother company with the Italian customers (ca. two thousand customers throughout all the national territory).Moreover in occasion of fairs and trade exhibitions I took care of the organization of all the promotional activities and of the media relations with specialized magazines.From January 2000 to August 2001 I had been the operating responsible for Quality System following courses on the new Vision 2000 norms. I was also in charge both for editing processes and making the auditing activities.
