Software Engineer at The Very Group, started as part of their innovative and exemplary Returner's Programme, assisting people back to work in tech after a career break. Amazing environment and onboarding process. Excited to be part of it!Having previously had a career spanning 15+ years in tech , I eventually took a break to raise my children. During this time I've been active in my community and later took up a full-time position in community mental health, completing a Masters post graduate degree in Psychology whilst working.My interest in tech has followed me throughout my break and has recently found me exploring generative art playing with P5.js and R packages to make pretty pictures with code....much fun. With my children now getting older, I have been given a wonderful opportunity to restart my tech career, utilising my experience whilst learning an exciting new architecture and tech stack.
