• Procured necessary state and federal permits required for project implementation, created project bid documents and contracts, and provided contract management and contractor oversight of projects.

• Generated annual cooperator reports, GIS maps, and fact sheets to inform researchers, managers, policy makers, and other stakeholders of restoration status and efforts in the Great Lakes basin
• Studied the multi-species ecological response to the hydrologic reconnection of a 40-hectare western Lake Erie impounded coastal wetland within the Maumee River Area of Concern
• Analyzed spatial and seasonal response patterns of fish, vegetation, aquatic invertebrates, water quality, and hydrology

• Managed eight graduate researchers as a consulting team to collect and analyze baseline ecological data prior to the hydrologic reconnection of 940 acres of agricultural land to the Shiawassee River and Lake Huron
• Collaborated with USFWS an USGS to design and develop short- and long-term monitoring protocols for the reconnection project
• Prepared and presented a comprehensive pre-restoration baseline dataset and monitoring recommendations to the public and partner organization though a technical report and public meetings

Altamira, Dominican Republic

During my two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic I coordinated energy efficient rocket stove construction projects and bio-sand water filter projects in four communities.
