-Managed several projects internationally including Ebola response and recovery in West Africa with trips to Libera, Sierra Leone, and Guinea supported by USAID Grand Challenges-Led biometric fingerprint scanning integration with electronic health record system and mobile application in rural Nepal-Coordinated regular webinar series as well as workshops and user groups internationally

-Coordinated CommCare workshops in multiple countries-Managed integration between CommCare and Biometrac for project in collaboration with the University of California San Francisco to monitor TB transmission in Uganda-Managed Save the Children Signature Program CommCare deployment in Bungoma, Kenya in collaboration with the Ministry of Health

Designed, developed, tested, trained, and evaluated CommCare mobile phone applications for use by community health workers.-Successfully implemented mobile application for tracking for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), and Maternal and Child Health (MNCH) for over 250 Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Kilifi, Kenya in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH), Pathfinder International, APHIAplus, and USAID.-Launched pilot and scale-up mobile application to track Technical Assistants (TAs) with The ANOVA Health Institute in South Africa aimed at improving the quality of health services in 3 districts in South Africa.

Projects in Sub-Saharan Africa:-Growth Monitoring and Promotion app with Food for the Hungry in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique-m4change app for Community Health Extension Workers monitoring pregnant women with Pathfinder International in Abuja, Nigeria Projects in South Africa: -HIV Home based care with the Keiskamma trust in Hamburg, Eastern Cape-Monitoring of clinical associate procedures with AIHA in Pretoria, Gauteng, and Mthatha, Eastern Cape-Home Based Care management application with Botshabelo Youth Partnership in Botshabelo, Free State-Thembelethu app for tracking orphans and vulnerable children in Mplumalanga-HIV care group pilot in Khayelitsha, Western Cape

-Conducted research on maltreatment assessment and prevention for the use in webinars and training seminars -Assisted with the 11th Annual Child Abuse and Neglect Conference -Member of the Georgia Governor’s Taskforce for the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children Prevention working group-Developed social media strategy and PSA competition for adolescents for the taskforce

-Coordinated research projects on improving disaster preparedness, immunization systems, and assessing incident command systems-Assisted in renewal of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant application -Created two surveys to track the progress of the center, collected and analyzed data from state wide H1N1 surveys, and conducted background research on public health ethics in emergency settings

-Completed certificate coursework in religion, health, and development at St. Paul’s University -Field experience conducting nutritional assessment for all 800 children at Nyumbani Village for orphans and vulnerable children afflicted by HIV/AIDS in Kitui, Kenya -Competed with research team in the Global Health Institute National Case Competition developing budgeting strategies for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees

-Worked directly with the Executive Director and Board of Directors as administrative assistant-Assisted with pandemic flu ethics training collaborations with the American Medical Association, and the Harvard Humanitarian Institute-Contributed to the formation of the World Council for Ethical Standards-Researched ethical codes and principles for medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology organizations-Author for bioethics blog, Ethics Illustrated, (http://www.bioethicsinternational.org/blog/)-Planned the annual E.R.A. -Taught leadership philosophies and teambuilding skills to high school and college students as well as corporate groups-Facilitated the bond between youth ages 8-12 and high school aged mentor through adversity in an outdoor setting such as rock climbing, hiking, caving, white water rafting, and challenge courses-Continued throughout the school year on weekends with different organizations developing leadership and teambuilding skills
