I am currently an alumni of Florida International University, where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communications, along with an English minor and a certificate in film studies. I was previously employed as a Staff Writer for PantherNOW. I wrote articles for the Entertainment Division. These articles ranged from movie reviews to event coverage for new movies being released. In the time I wrote the articles, I had the opportunity to attend a press junket for the movie "Fire Island," where I met and interviewed the director and a cast member. I was able to discover more of what went into the creative process of the film and its intended message.I work part time as a manager of Club Pilates, as well as a Pilates instructor. Balancing both jobs I s an important responsibility that I recognize and I make sure to deliver efficient work in both areas.In my free time, I enjoy reading articles and blogs that have just been released. I also find myself reading books for most of my free time. I like to read philosophical books, both fiction and non-fiction. There is always innovation in literature and I want to be aware of all that I can learn.At the moment, I am searching for an internship related to my field and interests.
