I have always been interested in human services and find a desirable fit in working with children in the healthcare setting as a Child Life Specialist. I have had the wonderful opportunities to prepare for the field as a Child Life Practicum Student at Mott Children's Hospital and also as a Child Life Intern at Children's Memorial Hospital. My current goal is to obtain Infant Massage Instructor certification and further the development of the Child Life program in the NICU at Bronson Hospital.Specialties: Preparing children for IV starts, sutures, etc. Facilitating non-pharmocological pain management techniques, incorporating therapeautic play, empowering parents and kids.
