CurrentManaging the complaints process and further developing the complaint mechanism including - communication with all relevant stakeholders and the expert panel, mobilization of additional expertise, supporting the panel in complaint handling, registration of complaints.- Refining the complaint mechanisms policy- developing and negotiating contact clauses with ZUG implementing organizations and international co-funding partners- developing guidance for implementing organisations, inreach and outreach measures- reporting to the supervisory board- technical exchange with other complaints mechanisms.The International Climate Initiative (IKI) is an important part of the German government's international climate finance commitment. Since 2022 the IKI is implemented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) and the Federal Foreign Office (AA). IKI operates within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), financing climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation in developing, emerging and transition countries.
