Born to a five-generation farming family in Arizona, I grew up learning about hard work and life as only farm life can teach. I’ve always been an artist, drawing and coloring so many pictures my parents had to start throwing them away. I love to incorporate hand drawings into my designs where applicable. I have worked as a designer for 20 years. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Graphic Design from Grand Canyon University.Upon moving to Tyler, Texas I became the head graphic designer for Pine Cove Camps where I worked for 6 years. Honing my skills in the print industry, I created everything from t-shirts to signage for the camps.Since joining Holt as Senior Designer in mid-2015, along with my print design experience, my skills in web design and development have grown exponentially. In addition to traveling to almost all 50 states, my husband and I are aspiring globetrotters and visit new places every year. The travel bucket list grows by the day, and although much of it includes international destinations, we jump on every chance to road-trip across America. Driving also has the added benefit of enjoying the sights and sounds with our beloved fur-baby, Whiskey. As Disney travel bloggers, we frequently visit Disneyland and Walt Disney World documenting our adventures and helping others get the most from the happiest place on earth.
