- Passing delivery drivers their 'cage' of parcels- Sorting out parcelsBeing a parcel packer at UrbanFox (Keppel Logistics) taught me how to work fast and efficiently. I was required to get the cage numbers from the delivery drivers and pull out the “cages” of parcels. When I first started, I faced numerous difficulties, such as remembering where each cage number was and which cage number belonged to which driver. It got confusing during peak mornings when all drivers were queuing to get their parcels. I slowly got the hang of it after getting tips from my co-workers and spending time to familiarise myself with the cage numbers. Knowing where each cage was, and the fastest route to pull it out helped clear the queue fast. I also had to help look for missing parcels in different cages and piles. This experience in a fast-paced environment helped improve my organisational skills and efficiency.
